My hope is that this podcast will be a valuable resource for education and entertainment for you.
As young architectural practitioners, we face a lot of difficulties. It's not easy to become successful in such a difficult and competitive field. There are so many issues and questions to be addressed, e.g how to become financially secure, how to keep up on top of technological innovation, unpaid internships, gender inequality, getting through university, succeeding as a sole practitioner, getting dream jobs, etc.
I have tracked down some remarkable people to ask all these questions to! These people are extraordinary individuals within the field of Architecture, and more broadly, the field of Design. Luckily for me, 'design' is a very broad term and that's why I have had conversations with Film-makers, Historians, Entrepreneurs, and even Activists! What I have found is that Architecture is an incredibly multidisciplinary field and getting information from people on it's fringes gives you insights you never expected. Insights that allow you to see your potential in a unique way. These podcast episodes are produced in a way that will give you practical knowledge to act on that will hopefully improve your architectural design skillset and deepen your understanding.
